My Philosophy

In my studio, my philosophy is to create an  environment that promotes enthusiasm, life-long learning, connections  to the real world, organized study, confidence building, and  self-accountability for both student and teacher.   I am a highly organized, driven and motivated teacher with four years of in-home voice lesson tutoring, as well as one year of student teaching at a North Side Preparatory HS. I have a flexible curriculum that meets the needs of each student with the aim of teaching the fundamental skills of sight reading, musically, musicianship with a strong foundation of Bel Canto singing. My aim as an educator is to provide enthusiasm for students and supply key tools for them to incorporate into their other subjects and daily life. It is my goal to help contribute to a well rounded student. I am qualified with a Master's of Music Performance and Pedagogy. I also Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice Performance with a minor in Business from North Park University.
